  • Will working for a staffing agency look good on my resume?

  • What types of hospitals can I work in?

    You can choose from a wide range of hospital settings from prestigious teaching institutions to smaller, rural facilities. Whether you prefer continuing in familiar environments or want to broaden your experience, Premier Nursing Services will tailor placements to your preferences.

  • What per diem shifts are available?

    We offer the following per diem shift options:

    • 7:00AM – 3:30PM
    • 3:00PM – 11:30PM
    • 11:00PM – 7:30AM
    • 7:00AM – 7:30PM
    • 7:00PM – 7:30AM

  • Am I required to work a certain number of shifts to stay employed by Premier Nursing Services?

    No. You are in control of your schedule. You choose where and when you want to work. While we encourage nurses to work full-time with us, it is not a requirement.

  • What qualities will help me become a successful nurse?

    To thrive as a nurse with Premier Nursing Services, you should demonstrate flexibility, a positive attitude, strong clinical skills, and a willingness to embrace new experiences. Being adaptable, a fast learner, and an effective communicator are key traits for success in this dynamic field.

  • Can I join Premier Nursing Services if I already work with other nursing agencies?

    Yes. You may work with multiple agencies as long as you manage your schedule responsibly. We ask that you avoid any scheduling conflicts or overlapping shifts that could cause confusion for our team and hospital partners.

  • Does your agency hire new graduates?

    No. Premier Nursing Services requires at least one to two years of recent acute hospital experience for all nursing positions.

  • Do you pay a higher rate for charge nurse assignments?

    We follow each hospital’s pay structure. If the hospital offers a higher rate for charge nurse duties, you will be compensated accordingly.

  • Do you hire independent 1099 contractors?

    No. All Premier Nursing Services employees are classified as W-2 employees and must complete a W-4 form.

  • Do you pay a higher rate on holidays?

    Yes. We offer higher pay rates on recognized holidays, in accordance with each facility’s protocol. Recognized holidays include:

    • New Year’s Day
    • Memorial Day
    • Independence Day
    • Labor Day
    • Thanksgiving Day
    • Christmas Day
